Bumula Member of Parliament Wanami Wamboka has declared that he is ready to face any consequences, including a curse from elders, amid an ongoing controversy surrounding him.
Speaking during a meeting with journalists at his home, Wamboka claimed that some elders are being manipulated by senior government politicians for political interests and personal gain. He argued that traditional leadership structures should not be used as tools for political agendas.
The legislator further alleged that the controversy surrounding him is being used to divert public attention from key issues that should be addressed by Moses Wetangula. Wamboka specifically pointed to concerns over the implementation of the 30 percent allocation of government contracts from the national government.

He maintained that leaders should remain focused on fulfilling their mandates and addressing matters affecting citizens rather than engaging in political distractions.
Wamboka was accompanied by West Bukusu Ward Representative Job Mukoyandali, Siboti Ward Representative Kundu Orise, and nominated ward representative Allain Nyongesa.
