DAP-K leaders led by Eugene Wamalwa have raised concerns over the integrity of the upcoming electoral process, accusing the government of advancing claims that could create uncertainty and tension ahead of future elections.
Speaking to the media at the residence of Hon. Patrick Wangamati in Khachonge, Kabuchai Constituency, during burial preparations ahead of his funeral scheduled for 30th May, Wamalwa and his team expressed concern over allegations surrounding the electoral process.

The leaders claimed that if President Ruto fails to secure enough votes to win, there could be attempts to manipulate the election outcome through electoral malpractice.
They emphasized the need for transparency and urged institutions involved in the electoral process to strictly adhere to the law and uphold democratic principles.

The leaders warned that any actions outside the legal framework could undermine public trust and compromise the credibility of elections.
They further maintained that electoral laws must be respected and followed at all times, warning that failure to adhere to the law could attract legal consequences, insisting that due process should prevail where violations occur.

They also called on Kenyans to remain peaceful, vigilant, and committed to safeguarding democracy as political activities continue to intensify.
