Bodaboda operators in Bungoma County have been urged to prioritize driving training in order to enhance their skills and improve the transport sector as a whole. The call was made as part of efforts to ensure safer and more efficient services for the public.
The operators were also encouraged to maintain high levels of discipline in their daily operations, which is seen as key to improving the image and performance of the sector.
Speaking after elections held in Marakaru-Tuuti Ward, leaders present at the event emphasized the need for cooperation with senior government officials in order to strengthen service delivery to the community.

Wycliffe Wasike’s Remarks
Leaders at the meeting further stressed the importance of unity and teamwork among boda boda operators, noting that cooperation is essential for the growth and development of the sector.
On his part, Frederick Wanyonyi, who had vied for the chairmanship position, congratulated the elected chairman and urged him to uphold unity by considering advice from others and leading without bias.
