Lusaka To Bungoma Youths -Amplify Your Voices for Change

Governor Kenneth Lusaka has called on young people to actively participate in decision making by using their voices to drive positive change.

Speaking at the launch of Wazo Youth Forums at Kibabii University, Lusaka highlighted key initiatives such as the County Youth and Sports Policy, the Ajiry Digital Skills Development Centre, and the 30% government procurement allocation for youth.

The Governor underscored the critical role of young people in nation-building, urging them to embrace constructive dialogue and advocacy.

“Young people are the heartbeat of any nation. Their voices can influence policies, demand accountability, and drive meaningful change,” he said.

The forum, organized by the National Youth Council, was attended by Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya, alongside Principal Secretary Ismail Maalim Madey, Deputy Governor Janepher Mbatiany, Kanduyi MP John Makali, and Youth Advisory Board Chairperson, among others.
