Trans Nzoia County Commissioner Alason Hussein was today handed over the Mt.Elgon Aquifer Ground water project on behalf of the National Cabinet Secretary for Ministry of water, sanitation and irrigation by Executive Director Dr. Eng Nestor of NILE BASIN Initiative.
The Ground water monitoring pilot project which has been implemented and fully functional in Lukesi area in Saboti constituency will be benefiting Bishop Crowley Secondary School serving a population of 209 students , teachers and workers 358 pupils and staff at Lukesi Primary School and 843 households within Lukesi area.
In attendance was the DCC Saboti Mr. Adano Ibrahim and other visitors from the Ministry of Water.
