The Connection Hospital in Bungoma Town held a successful medical surgical camp which was organized by Upendo International Care.
The medical camp was meant to bring hope and quality healthcare services closer to the community through free surgical procedures and medical consultations.
Among the notable cases handled during the camp was a 45-year-old woman diagnosed with a thyroid condition, who successfully underwent surgical management under the care of the experienced medical team.
In another touching case, a 3-year-old boy received successful treatment for a lipoma through a carefully conducted surgical procedure.
The medical surgical camp was led by General Surgeon Dr. Siminyu alongside Anaesthetist Dr. Allan, with valuable support from Surgeon Assistants Dr. Victor and Dr. Naomi.
Their professionalism, teamwork, and dedication ensured the procedures were carried out safely and successfully.
In addition to the procedures conducted at Connection Hospital, the medical team also carried out eight more successful surgeries later the same day at Wema Hospital, still in Bungoma Town.
All patients responded well to treatment and were left in the recovery room with less pain and renewed hope of returning home in better health and condition.
The initiative highlighted the importance of accessible healthcare services within the community, especially for patients who may not easily afford specialized surgical treatment.
Families expressed gratitude for the compassionate care and life-changing support offered during the camp.
The event not only restored health to patients but also strengthened community trust in medical outreach programs aimed at improving lives through affordable and accessible healthcare.
