The founder of the event and popular musician Kiteh Ekirapa said on Monday that the celebration, sponsored by the Arthur Amug Osiya Foundation, will kick off at 2pm and run until dawn.

โActivities lined up include singing, modelling, spoken word, dance, and even eating competitions, among others,โ he said, adding that culture executive from
Different counties will attend the event to learn on the Iteso culture.
Kiteh added that performing artists and dance groups will be drawn from across the greater Teso region, which is renowned for its rich pool of musical and creative talent.

PAS Osiya, who spoke earlier in August, said the 2025 edition of Teso Night will be unique and more vibrant compared to the previous two editions.
โThe initiative touches the lives of our people in a special way. To strengthen its impact, we have expanded the organizing committee to include business leaders and church representatives,โ he noted.
He said Amagoro residents remain the biggest beneficiaries of the event, as hawkers and traders enjoy booming sales of various products including bottled water and soft drinks during the festivities.
Osiya further commended the event founder, Kiteh Etyang, for his continued role in talent development, emphasizing that the region does not need to outsource performers when they have gifted youths within.
