Joy As Busia Governor Reshuffles His Cabinet

Busia governor Paul Nyongesa Otuoma has initiated changes to his cabinet to bolster a good working relationship.
In a notification of portfolio reassignments made by the acting County secretary John Oscar Juma, Otuoma stated that he had made changes in within the ranks of County executive committee and the office of the Chief officers.
In the changes announced on May 12, 2024, Hon.Topister Naiti Wanyama was moved to the department of Water, Environment, irrigation, natural resources, climate change and energy from Treasury and economic planning.
Hon.Douglas Emmanuel Okiring was allocated the County Treasury and economic planning position from strategic partnerships, ICT and digital economy.
Eng. Andrew Meso has landed on the strategic partnerships, ICT and digital economy docket from the department of Water, Environment, irrigation, natural resources, climate change and energy position.
Mr.Peter Khasamule Kadima who was the Lands, Housing and Urban development has been dispatched to Transport, roads and public works as the new sheriff.
Madam Pamela Awori, is the new Transport, roads and public works minister from Public service management, governance and administration.
While Andrew Nakitari takes over Public service management, governance and administration docket from  transport, roads and public works.
In the same communication, the general public was notified that Beatrice Nakholi and Mr.Faustin Ochung’a the CECM and CO had taken leave to study at Kenya School of Government.
In their absence, Peter Oduma and John Muroki were appointed to fill their positions in acting capacities until they are back.
Otuoma also appointed Mr.Timothy Odendebas the acting County Chief Officer Revenue.
