A Lady who recently graduated from Kibabii University in Bungoma County with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education has received sponsorship for a five day vacation in Mombasa.
A lady identified as Claire Nabwile Juma has been working as a private security guard for MBS Security Services which also paid her four year education course at the University.
Claire was at first identified by Bungoma County Woman Rep Catherine Wambilianga after she had been assigned duty at her office in Ndengelwa market four years ago.
Her burning desire to pursue a degree at the University was realized after the Woman Rep and the MBS security services leadership agreed to settle her university fee as she also used her salary to settle some personal issues.
Four years later her determination and resilience paid off after she graduated with a degree
On Thursday, the same company which employed her after she had sought for a job opportunity (MBS security services) sponsored her vacation at the Coastal town of Mombasa.
“As MBS security services, we have kept our promise this morning by sponsoring a flight to Mombasa for Claire and her family. The family will spend five days vacation, entirely sponsored by the company,” read a post seen by Horizon News.
It continued, “This gesture celebrates Claire’s accomplishment of earning a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree from Kibabii University, while working with MBS as a night guard,”.
MBS Security Services is owned by a philanthropist and Bungoma County businessman Joseph Lendrix Waswa.
Lendrix, in his unwavering commitment to support talent and foster success, has gone a step further. This act of kindness embodies the spirit of community and mentorship—proof that we can achieve great things when we uplift each other.
Luck has been following the lady, this week, the National Assembly speaker Moses Wetang’ula announced seeking a permanent and pensionable teaching job for her.
Speaking after she visited his office in Nairob, Wetang’ula stated that hers was a story of determination and hard work and a majority should embrace it.
