Bungoma, Kakamega, Vihiga, Trans Nzoia is among counties in Western region is set to benefit from the Sh 250 million government support towards counties to achieve the project.
Bungoma County Aggregation and Industrial Park will be constructed in Sang’alo, part of the Sang’alo institutes’ 550ha will be used to house the project.
State Department of Industry will contribute 250m while counties will also inject 250 million bringing a total of 2.5 billion for the 5 Western Region counties.
Industry PS Dr.Juma Mukhwana says it is ksh 500m budget per county.
“With my state department contributing ksh 250m and each county ksh 250m. The five counties of Western are investing ksh 2.5billion,” he said.
