Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has dropped his Deputy Governor Prof Philip Kutima as the County Executive Committee Members (CECM) for agriculture.
Kutima will now serve as the DG with no extra responsibilities and Rachel Okumu who has been the Health CEC member took his position.
Oparanya has also dropped Mr. Joseph Obonyo who has been the CECM for Education from his cabinet and replaced him with Dr. George Lutomia of ICT and e-Government.
Obonyo is now the new acting CEO of Kakamega County Investments and Development Agency.
The ICT department has been merged with that of Finance and Planning where Dr. Beatrice Sabana is the new CECM. Until the reshuffle, Dr. Sabana was in charge of the Public Service and Administration.
