The operation to eradicate illicit brew is ongoing in every corner of the county, says Trans Nzoia County Commissioner Alason Hussein.
Hussein stated that illicit brew had turned energetic youth into zombies as they are unable to perform other duties.
He noted that illicit brew was causing insecurity as those engaging in the drinking sprees are turning out to crime to get money for the facilitation of the drinks.
“This war against illicit brew we will continue until we win because it is the source of everything including insecurity and even indiscipline. All my security officers are in the process of ending illicit brew and drug abuse,” says the Commissioner.
