Governor Kenneth Lusaka has officially commissioned the Milani Dispensary, a facility set to serve approximately 10,000 residents of Bokoli Ward and expand access to essential medical services.
The newly launched facility will offer both inpatient and outpatient services, easing the burden on patients who previously had to travel long distances to access healthcare services.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Governor Lusaka emphasized his administration’s commitment to strengthening grassroots healthcare delivery.
“Health is our topmost priority. We are working tirelessly to operationalize health services across the county,” said Lusaka.
In addition to the dispensary, Lusaka announced an allocation of KSh10 million in the 2025/2026 financial year for the construction of a theatre at Bokoli Sub-County Hospital. He further pledged to donate 12 hospital beds to the new facility within a week.
The move is part of the county government’s broader effort to enhance public health infrastructure and service delivery across Bungoma.
