Kakamega Homeboyz were thrashed 1-1 by Bandari FC.
First half ended in a 0-0 draw despite Bandari’s Abdallah Hassan hitting the post from a long range foul in the 30th minute.
The first yellow card was issued to Denis Magige after tripping Agwanda who was on counter attack against the visitors in the 39th minute.
The away team also missed a penalty after the Homeboyz goalkeeper played so well to deny Bandari an early lead.
Abdallah Hassan, the goal scorer headed the ball into the back of the net from a cross inside the box from the right wing in the 75th minute.
Bandari now at position 7 with 36 points after playing 22 matches against Kakamega Homeboys who have played 23 games, standing at position 11 with 29 points.
In the First match on Sunday in the same stadium, Vihiga Bullets managed to score a goal which gave them the lead and in turn 3 points.
Dennilson Imbayi almost gave Bullets an opener in the 29th minute, but Brian Opiyo was alert as he made a vital save to keep the score 0-0.
At the halftime break, none of the teams had managed to utilize their few chances, as the score remained goalless.
In the second half, the Bullets were more aggressive and their efforts were rewarded with a 51-minute goal scored by Joseph Oyugi.
The Slum Boys reacted to the Bullets’ lead by making two changes as Fuad Noor and Ronald Shichenje came on for Derrick Ikholi and Chris Owino, respectively, in the 53rd minute.
In the 59 minute visitors made a further change when Douglas Kibet replaced Baron Oketch.
Opiyo made another big save in the 64th minute preventing the Bullets from doubling their lead.
After the stunning saves from Opiyo, he was shown a red card in the 75th minute for disagreeing with referee’s decision.
Benard Jairo came in as the second goalkeeper, he replaced Fidel Otieno.
Despite the win, the Bullets are still at the bottom of the Premier League table with 8 points after playing 22 matches. In the 15th position of the table is Mathare FC having 22 points afte their 22nd game.
