KAKAMEGA
Five are feared dead and ten others injured after a goldmine collapsed on them this evening at Bushiangala rea in Ikolomani Sub County.
Isulu Location Chief Zacchaeus Shitandasi told the County Splash on phone that rescue operations have started.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that 37 people were in the goldmine by the time of the incident.
Majority of the miners who have been trapped in the goldmine are said to be Tanzanian nationals.
