Family Of The Late Malaba OCS Now Demand Postmortem Over His Death

The family of the late Malaba Deputy Officer Commanding Station, Tobias Murunga Masake, has ruled that there are glaring gaps surrounding the death of their son in a road accident.

Inspector Murunga lost his life on Monday after his motorcycle was involved in an accident, at Ketebat area along Malaba- Akichelesit- Angurai road.

In a statement, Mr Mogoria said the death of one of their family members had left them with questions, noting that they raised of them with the OCPD and his team.

β€œWhile we are happy with what the police deed following Murunga’s death. What we are raising is the response and handling of the body right from the accident scene to Kocholia Sub County Hospital to the LifeCare morgue,” he said.

He added:” For this to give peace to the wife, children and the rest of the family and friends, we are seeking for a postmortem to establish the cause of his death, ” he said.

β€œThen after the postmortem, either our fears will be laid aside or we shall decide what action to take,” Mr Mogoria said.

The death of Malaba Deputy OCS earned the wrath of Boda Boda riders who accused Kenya National Highway Authority ( KeNHA) over its failure to maintain the Angurai-Malaba- Busia road.
