Following good achievements at Mwomo primary school in Bumula sub county Bungoma,MP Wamboka has rewarded the school with 2 new modern classrooms worth 2 million which is a timely facility to serve the students.
Speaking during the launch of the classes, Wamboka lauded the teachers for their hard work which is evidenced in the pupils’ performance.
This has made more pupils to transfer from the neighbouring to Mwomo primary scholl making the number of students to increase more.
“Am so happy to see schools that i do support excell academically and am proud of you,i would like to arge you to continue and even perfom higher”said Wamboka.
The school which has more than 700 pupils,emerged as the best school during the 2024 national exams within Kimeti ward.
School stakeholders around the constituency expressed gratitude for the interventions and support for the ongoing efforts devoted to making sure Bumula schools have the resources they require to promote education for future generations.
“Am very happy as a parent seeing our children learning in a conducive environment,we are so grateful for the support given to us and as parents we will collaborate with teachers to make sure our children are brought up with discipline and excellence”said Patrick Juma a parent and a resident of Mwomo.
The project is a major step toward improving the educational environment and promoting learning.
The head of the school Mr. Peter Sitati assured education stakeholders and the administration more improvements and excellence in the coming exams.
The project was formally turned over to the school in the presence of education and administrative representatives on friday.
