Lugulu Girls High School is a source of pride for the Friends Church Quakers, much like Friends School Kamusinga.
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) should avoid punishing students by withholding their results, as this amounts to psychological torture. However, I strongly urge the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to address the management issues in the school.
For Teremi High School, where over 100 students received a “Y” grade, I empathize deeply with the affected learners.
I call upon the sponsors of both schools, particularly the Elgon Religious Society of Friends (Lugulu Yearly Meeting), to convene a meeting with the employer, TSC, to address and streamline the management of these two institutions.
