A Suspected thief in Bungoma County survived death by a whisker after he was caught at night while stealing the neighbours chicken.
A source told Horizon News that a young man in his 20’s was caught red handed in a chicken Pen in one of the resident’s house in Kabuchai sub county.
“An Irate mob beats to near death a chicken thief at Kabuchai market, the suspect comes from Miluki in Siboti ward, Bumula Sub County but currently resides at Pongola village in West Nalondo ward,” wrote a witness on Kabuchai online Facebook page.
The culprit is receiving medication in one of the local health facility under the security care awaiting to be arraigned in court.
He is recuperating in the local health facility while the one of the stolen chicken is also tied to his hands as evidence.
