Big Boost to Bungoma County Football Clubs as The Joseph Lendrix Waswa County Championship is set to continue from 14th of May 2023.

Launching will take place on the same date at Kipsis primary school, Mt Elgon Constituency ahead of the first match where Kipsis Arrows will take on Sirisia 1 FC.
The Championship will be played by two teams from every constituency across the county that emerged as the winners and runners-up in the just concluded matches at Pan-Paper Stadium.
As away of inspiring and uniting youths towards skills development and empowerment as well as promoting local talents, the winner of the championship will be rewarded with a trophy and worth incentive of Ksh 700,000 and the runners-up will get Ksh 500,000 respectively.
However, the tournament will be highly scouted by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) so that the highly talented players can get a breakthrough to play in the country’s top league.
In attendance will be Former Harambee Stars Coach Stanley Okumbi, Mohamed Hamisi amongst other guests.
