Dr Philip Sakwa joins Mumias East parliamentary race

Mumias East constituency is a home of potentials and deserves an all inclusive legislator to unlock them ahead of the 2022 parliamentary elections.

This is according to Dr Philip Okomba Sakwa, a parliamentary aspirant in Mumias East constituency who called upon residents to elect a trustworthy leader with a high sense of integrity which he attributes to high level of performance.

While talking at a funeral in Lubinu-Lusheya ward of Mumias East constituency, Dr Philip Sakwa said that the resource rich constituency  needs a humble, disciplined and well informed leader to broaden the income levels of the constituents. 

Dr Philip Sakwa, who is amongst the newest aspirants in the race called upon residents to support his parliamentary bid regardless of political affiliations.

He delineates confidence that he is the solution to the taunting mumias sugar nightmare which he says will regain the otherwise resounding glory of the Wanga nation and the economic base of the constituency that will reflect to better standards of living.

He however called upon politicians in the constituency to desist from incitements and divisive politics which he says has brought down the most precious economic builders in the region. 

Sakwa also urged mourners to fully participate in the ongoing voter registration excercise so as to participate effectively in electing persons who will journey their dreams and aspirations in the next 5years.

Dr Okomba Sakwa who is aspiring on an ODM ticket under Azimio la Umoja coalition is set to battle against Kenya Kwanza’s David Wamatsi and DAP- K’s Peter Sellasie in this year’s general elections.
