As the nation continues to register\nhigh number of the covid-19 patient\u2019s parents has been accused over negligence\nof their learners and even not bothering to educate them on how to protect them\nagainst the corona virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since the country decided to lock-down\nall public gatherings including schools, many learners have lost morals and\neven some engaging in illegal matters which may result to high rate of school drop-outs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Isaac Misiko a senior herbalist\nsays the government should assign chiefs and their assistants to ensure that\nlearners follow instructions as per the ministry of health and the ministry of\neducation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018\u2019it does not mean that when there is a\nglobal pandemic it\u2019s time for learners to roam in town rather than finding ways\nto succeed in life.\u2019\u2019 He said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He urged the government of Kenya\nthrough the ministry of education to find a way on how our learners especially\ncandidates can get access to revision materials, adding that online learning\ncannot befit those from vulnerable households.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018\u2019Many of our learners come from\nvulnerable households so if the ministry instructs them to revise online I\nthink most of them will be left behind.\u2019\u2019 He said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He urged the ministry of health to\nconsider traditional herbalists in fighting global corona virus pandemic saying\nthat the government of Kenya has greatly concentrated on artificial medication\nwhich at some point does not treat it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Misiko has disagreed with what the\nministry of health is doing that when found without wearing a face mask you\nwill be forced in quarantine, calling on the ministry of health to have a\nmeeting with herbalists and do testing on their research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018\u2019 I plead the government to have a\nmeeting with all herbalists and their research samples taken to Kenya medical\nresearch institute (KMRI) in a process medication to this pandemic will be\nidentified very fast.\u2019\u2019 He advised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He however, said that the fourteen days\nin quarantine cannot help in combating this pandemic, calling on the CS Mutahi\nKagwe to consider traditional herbalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Misiko says the Kenya medical research\ninstitute a state corporation established through the science and technology\n(amendment) act of 1979 its work is to do research on find curable medicines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also urged the government to give\ndirectives on churches, calling on hotel managers to have a better plan on how\nto protect their employees from contracting the corona virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018\u2019The government to allow churches do\ntheir services in shifts saying prayers are one of the ways in the fight\nagainst the corona virus.\u2019\u2019 He said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The indigenous and Scientific Research\nCollaboration Association (ISCRA) has done much research, which needs testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
