Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has cautioned farmers against selling subsidized farm inputs distributed by the County to support them during the planting season.<\/p>\n

Speaking during a live interview on Radio Citizen, Lusaka emphasized that the program aims to empower vulnerable farmers, yet some choose to sell the inputs at low prices instead of using them for their intended purpose.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe County provides these farm inputs to help farmers boost production and enhance food security. It is unfortunate that some are misusing the opportunity by selling them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The governor warned that stern action will be taken against those found engaging in the malpractice.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, he assured farmers that the County is finalizing preparations for this year’s free farm input distribution. He urged them to collect and utilize the inputs effectively to promote food security in the County.<\/p>\n
