Thousands of residents of Sitikho ward in Webuye West constituency have benefited from a free medication.<\/p>\n

The medical camp organized by a parliamentary aspirant in 2027 Hon. Joseph Lendrix Waswa so sick residents diagnosed and given free drugs.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
Speaking during the event, Waswa stated that he had been approached to help residents after a majority of them failing to finance their own medication.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He also registered over 1,700 people on Social Health Authority (SHA) to enable them receive free medication in future.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

The medical camp was held at Sitikho dispensary.<\/p>\n
<\/div>\n
Waswa used the opportunity to shade light on the importance of having a disease free community for the sake of development.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He also directed that all critical cases be referred to Webuye County Hospital for specialized treatment.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He also announced that those requiring surgeries and other urgent attention will be assigned special doctors.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Waswa also called upon those who had missed a chance today at Sitikho chapter to find their way to Bokoli on Wednesday for check ups.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
