A Suspected thief in Bungoma County survived death by a whisker after he was caught at night while stealing the neighbours chicken.<\/p>\n

A source told Horizon News that a young man in his 20’s was caught red handed in a chicken Pen in one of the resident’s house in Kabuchai sub county.<\/p>\n

“An Irate mob beats to near death a chicken thief at Kabuchai market, the suspect comes from Miluki in Siboti ward, Bumula Sub County but currently resides at Pongola village in West Nalondo ward,” wrote a witness on Kabuchai online Facebook page.<\/p>\n

The culprit is receiving medication in one of the local health facility under the security care awaiting to be arraigned in court.<\/p>\n

He is recuperating in the local health facility while the one of the stolen chicken is also tied to his hands as evidence.<\/p>\n
