Bungoma and South Korea will join hands to redefine, strengthen and expand Vocational Training Centres through exchange Program that will drive innovation, research and job growth.<\/p>\n

The cooperation secured by Governor Kenneth Lusaka and South korea’s Jeollanam-Do Education Minister Kim Dae Jung will enhance skill development, equipping young people both in Bungoma and Korea with essential skills in ICT, green technologies and sustainable construction practices.<\/p>\n

To cement the agreement, South Korea handed Bungoma delegation 4,000 State-of-the-art ECDE furniture that will boost the county’s efforts in providing conducive environment for the young learners across the centres.<\/p>\n

“This partnership that we have secured will transform the learning experience of our young learners in Bungoma and our young men and women in our VTCs. We are grateful” Said Lusaka.<\/p>\n

Bungoma has a longstanding partnership with South Korea, actively supporting the county in provision of clean and safe water for close to 200,000 residents through KOICA I, KOICA II and now soon to be launched KOICA III.<\/p>\n
