According to Kioni, the intruders were sent by a section of Kenya Kwanza leaders with National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichungwah being one of the suspects.<\/p>\n
Mr. Ichungwah had on March 18 uttered threatening words directed to Uhuru during his visit to Kianyanga High School where he had accompanied Rigathi Gachagua.<\/p>\n
“Even those big lands we will invade and those without land will be settled. Don’t think only the ordinary Kenyans will lose their property. Even you will pay a price if you continue to instigate violence and bloodshed in this country. That is my message to Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta , the sponsor of Azimio la Umoja Kenya One Coalition Party mercenary Raila Odinga,” he said.<\/p>\n
However it is not clear if Mr. Ichungwah was involved as he denied the accusations saying he was innocent.<\/p>\n
“I do not know anything about the invasion of the Kenyatta’s land. I first saw on social media the reports claiming unknown people had invaded the former president’s farm,” he said.<\/p>\n
