as the second governor of Kakamega. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, Kakamega has 1,867,579 people and out of these,\n841,139 are registered voters, according to IEBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"681\" \/><figcaption><strong><code>Ken Lusaka<\/code><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Bungoma, we shall be having a rematch between the Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka (Ford Kenya) and Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati (DAP-K).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p> <strong><code>Wangamati won the seat on a Ford Kenya ticket with a margin of 21,493  votes after garnering 197,422 votes against Lusaka\u2019s 175, 929 votes.<\/code><\/strong> <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lusaka was floored by Wangamati in 2017 with the help of\narea Senator Moses Wetang\u2019ula but in an interesting twist, Wetang\u2019ula is\nsupporting Lusaka as the lion\u2019s party candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"865\" height=\"960\" Zachariah\nBarasa (UDP) and Martin Ndiwa Simotwo (NVP) are also participating in the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Vihiga, it will also be a rematch between the incumbent\ngovernor Wilbur Ottichilo (ODM) and his predecessor, Moses Akaranga (PPK).
