AFC Leopards football fanatic Isaac Juma, 56, was butchered last night by unknown assailants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to his wife Farida Juma, he was killed around 9pm at Bukaya village in Mumias West Sub County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A source that sought anonymity told County Splash that his relatives wanted to sell his two-acre piece of land and had earlier received death threats. <\/code><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The widow believes that the husband might have been killed\nas a result of a land feud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Already one of the suspects has been arrested and another\none still at large. This is according to Mumias West Sub County Police\nCommander Stephen Muoni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muoni said he was hacked to death by the two men in a sheep\npen while his brother and son escaped death by a whisker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Juma was married to two wives namely, Christina Juma with\nwhom they were blessed with four children and Farida six, totaling to 10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His body has been taken to Butere hospital mortuary awaiting\npostmortem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputy President William Ruto on his facebook account posted: We are heartbroken by the loss of the ever-present AFC Leopards and Harambee Stars longstanding fan Isaac Juma. He was a friendly, ever jovial and passionate soccer supporter. Our thoughts are with the family and soccer fraternity during this painful time.
