Living Goods has handed over community health equipment valued at Sh8,862,000 to the County Government of Bungoma as part of its continued partnership to strengthen the community health system.<\/div>\n

The consignment comprised 120 digital devices to enhance the quality and effectiveness of Community Health Promoter (CHP) supervision and 3,590 job aids to improve the quality of health education delivered by CHPs.<\/div>\n

The digital devices fulfilled Living Goods’ commitments under its Memorandum of Understanding with the County Government of Bungoma, while the job aids were an additional investment made following the identification of critical knowledge gaps affecting Community Health service delivery.<\/div>\n

Receiving these equipment, the County Executive Committee Member for Health CPA Chrispinus Barasa, appreciated Living Goods’ continued partnership and investment in strengthening Bungoma’s health system.<\/div>\n

He reaffirmed the County Government’s commitment to providing equitable, high-quality healthcare for all residents and highlighted ongoing efforts to create an enabling environment for partners through the finalization of the County Partner Coordination Framework, which will guide coordination and collaboration.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

On behalf of Living Goods Country Director, Mrs. Christine Namayanja, the equipment were officially handed over by the Living Goods Bungoma team, led by Senior Program Manager Mr. Victor Bwire who emphasized the importance of strong community health systems in improving maternal, newborn, and child health outcomes.<\/div>\n

He reaffirmed Living Goods’ commitment to working alongside the County Government of Bungoma to strengthen frontline service delivery through improved supervision, capacity building, and the provision of essential tools.<\/div>\n
