Kimilili Member of Parliament, Didmus Barasa, has called on some opposition leaders to focus on development-oriented politics instead of engaging in what he termed as propaganda.<\/p>\n

Speaking during a public meeting in Bumula Constituency, Barasa accused certain opposition leaders of misleading residents, particularly in the Western region, through political propaganda that he said undermines development efforts.<\/p>\n

He emphasized the need for leaders to unite in addressing the challenges facing citizens and to prioritize initiatives that improve the livelihoods of Kenyans rather than engaging in divisive politics.<\/p>\n

The legislator also urged former President Uhuru Kenyatta to distance himself from what he described as inflammatory politics, saying national leaders should use their influence to promote peace, unity, and stability, especially among the youth.<\/p>\n

His remarks come amid heightened political activities across the country as leaders continue to engage with wananchi on various national and development issues.<\/p>\n
