Kamala\nHarris is the first African-American Women to be elected as Vice President in\nthe United States of America. She was the running mate to President Elect Joe\nBiden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two\njointly trounced the incumbent President Donald Trump with a landslide victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, rumours are rife that the US President Elect might be a Kenyan from Lurambi constituency in Kakamega County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe name \u2018Khamala\u2019 (Kamala) is only found in the Batsotso, Banyala and Bukusu sub tribes of the Luhya community. His ancestors might have been Kakamega residents who migrated to Caribbean countries in search of greener pastures and gave birth to Kamala\u2019s father,\u201d posted one of the netizens in one of the WhatsApp Group in Kakamega.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kamala\nHarris father is from Jamaica while his mother was an Indian. But netizens\ncannot just keep quiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some claim that Kamala Harris might be a sister to Lurambi MP Bishop Titus Khamala while others claim that the MP and the Vice President Elect \u2018know each other\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lurambi MP lived in the US for three years whilst a student at International Children\u2019s Ministry Institute (ICMI), a bible college in Illinois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Could these\nbe the reason the netizens are claiming they have any connection? That\u2019s a\nstory for another day. But do we say\u2026 Former US President Barack Obama is also\na Kenyan from K\u2019ogalo in Siaya County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kamala\nHarris is married to lawyer Douglas Emhoff and are blessed with two\nchildren namely Cole Emhoff and Ella Emhoff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bishop Khamala is married to Rose Khamala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what set the internet on fire was when a video of a woman with a jar of floor on the head, a sufuria and a bag could be seen dancing and thanking Americans for electing Kamala Harris as the first black woman from Kakamega as the Vice President of the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The unidentified\nwoman who hails from Amalemba  estates\nwithin the outskirts of Kakamega could also be heard thanking Bishop Khamala\nfor being \u2018 a strong pillar\u2019 to Kamala\u2019s victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(We want to salute the husband\nBishop Khamala for standing with her during the campaign period. We as the\nresidents of Amalemba didn\u2019t know that at one time Kamala Harris will be US\nVice President).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She urged\nthe Vice President Elect to tarmac the road to Shitwsitwsi where Khamala comes given\nthat it was impassable using her first salary as Vice President.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the political front, Kamala Harris is an liberal and socialist in her political pursuit while Bishop Khamala is a deep conservative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though Khamala disagrees with the outgoing President Donald\nTrump style of leadership, he lauds him for recognizing Jerusalem and restoring\nreligious freedom in the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Khamala greatly admires the outgoing Vice President Mike\nPence for his great Christian values and believes that the future of the\nRepublican party is in him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
