The African Talent University (TATU) is designed to produce not just graduates who describe problems but individuals who solve them.<\/div>\n

During a press conference in Kisumu on Thursday, Prof. Humphrey Oborah, Founder and Sponsor of the University affirmed that by the government granting it a letter of interim authority is not the end of a journey. It is the beginning of an education revolution.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He stated that the day marks a historic milestone\u2014not just for The African Talent University, but for the future of education in Africa.<\/div>\n

“After a 20-year journey of vision, persistence, and advocacy, the Government of Kenya has granted The African Talent University an Interim Charter, through the Letter of Interim Authority (LIA),” he said.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He noted that the recognition affirms a bold new model of higher education\u2014one that places talent, not just grades, at the center of learning, innovation, and human development.<\/div>\n

“For two decades, we have championed a simple but transformative idea:<\/div>\n
that millions of young Africans possess extraordinary abilities that conventional systems do not recognize,” Oborah said.<\/div>\n

The Interim Charter is therefore not just an institutional approval\u2014it is validation of a new direction in education.<\/div>\n

When the Cabinet Secretary for Education issued the LIA, he expressed confidence that TATU would help address the gaps within the CBC\/CBE system.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
