Football emotions are running high as supporters of Manchester City, Arsenal, and Manchester United clash over the direction of the title race.<\/p>\n
Manchester City fan, Aluku Charles Obali, was in no mood for modesty after his side\u2019s latest triumph.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe beat the very people who bragged they can\u2019t be beaten\u2014and we will do it again,\u201d he declared confidently.<\/p>\n
In a lighthearted moment, Obali revealed he had even teased his four sons\u2014diehard Arsenal fans\u2014that he was willing to \u201csacrifice\u201d City\u2019s success just to see the Gunners win their first league title in over two decades.<\/p>\nAluku Charles Obali in his traditional “Kingpin” Godfather<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\u201cTake this cup today, it\u2019s yours,\u201d he joked. \u201cBut it turned out the opposite\u2014even with my prayers.\u201d \nHe added that City\u2019s march toward silverware is no accident: \n\u201cWhere we have reached, we are taking the cup the way it is supposed to happen. More trophies are coming.\u201d \nObali also lamented missing part of the match due to a blackout, taking a swipe at Kenya Power for persistent outages.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese power interruptions are ruining the experience. They need to pull up their socks,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Sending a warning to rivals, he concluded: \n\u201cMan City is not a joke\u2014we have strength and power.\u201d<\/p>\n
Arsenal fan, Mello Collins, struck a more measured tone, urging fellow supporters to remain hopeful.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are still at the top and believe we can recover our lost glory,\u201d he said. \n\u201cWe will fight for silverware in the remaining matches.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, Collins questioned officiating decisions during the match: \n\u201cThe referee showed open bias, but I thank our fans for staying calm.\u201d<\/p>\n
Looking ahead, he remained defiant: \n\u201cWe shall bounce back, win our next games, and go for both the league and the Champions League. Our semifinal opponents, Atl\u00e9tico Madrid, are not a threat\u2014we\u2019ve beaten them before.\u201d<\/p>\n
From the Manchester United corner, Julius Ekirapa delivered a blunt verdict on Arsenal\u2019s ambitions: \n\u201cArsenal should forget the title. At this stage, they cannot mount a comeback. It\u2019s the same \u2018next season\u2019 story every year.\u201d<\/p>\n
He questioned deeper issues within the club: \n\u201cEven if they change the manager, the same mistakes keep repeating. Is it the management or the players?\u201d<\/p>\n
Ekirapa added a historical jab: \n\u201cSince Arsenal last won the league in 2004, even babies born then now have grandchildren.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite United\u2019s rivalry with City, he admitted backing them this time: \n\u201cWe supported City to keep Arsenal quiet. If Arsenal wins, their fans won\u2019t give us peace.\u201d<\/p>\n
