The Dean of Students (Susan Ligeve) and Deputy Principal Silas Chepkwon came to our hostels and took away our mattresses. We are now sleeping on metallic beds that don\u2019t have beddings for three days now,\u201d claimed one of the students who sought anonymity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The student claimed that they were informed that they will\nbe only be allowed back into the hostels if they have zero balances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"578\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/horizonnews.co.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG-20201017-WA0036-578x1024.jpg?v=1602959753\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1167\" srcset=\"https:\/\/horizonnews.co.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG-20201017-WA0036-578x1024.jpg 578w, https:\/\/horizonnews.co.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG-20201017-WA0036-169x300.jpg 169w, https:\/\/horizonnews.co.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG-20201017-WA0036-696x1234.jpg 696w, https:\/\/horizonnews.co.ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG-20201017-WA0036.jpg 722w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 578px) 100vw, 578px\" \/><figcaption><em><strong>Empty beds with no mattresses<\/strong><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe have students who finished their tuition fees but there\nmattresses were also taken away and therefore the issue of zero balances doesn\u2019t\narise. We don\u2019t have new students (freshers) reporting to the college.
