Lendrix Calls for Accountability As Leaders Urged To Focus On Development As He Distributes Uniforms To Learners

By Nelvin Juma
A Webuye West Politician Joseph Lendrix Waswa has urged elected leaders to remain accountable and avoid statements that tarnish the reputations of their opponents.
Speaking at Matulo Friends during a bursary distribution exercise benefiting students from universities, colleges, and primary schools in Matulo and Sitikho wards, Waswa called on politicians to play mature politics.
Waswa emphasized the need for leadership based on integrity, unity and service delivery instead of divisive politics.
His remarks were supported by KNUT Webuye West Branch Secretary Robert Mandila, who noted that leaders who prioritize development through action can uplift communities and promote sustainable growth.

Parents present praised the bursary initiative, saying it will ease the financial burden on families from low-income backgrounds, and pledged continued cooperation to support education and better outcomes for their children.
Waswa is a front runner to win the Webuye West Parliamentary seat putting the current Mp Dan Wanyama position in a precarious position.
