President Ruto Ends His 4-Day Western Region Tour, Announces This Changes…

President William Ruto concluded his development tour of the Western region in bungoma county where he announced plans to relocate the state lodge from Bungoma town to Mabanga to allow expansion of the smart city project aimed at transforming the town into a modern urban centre.
He spoke this after laying the foundation for the smart city which houses different infrastructure which will change the outlook of Bungoma town.
The four-day tour ended in kanduyi constituency where he said the move will create space for infrastructure development and attract more investors to Bungoma and the wider western region.
While addressing residents, national assembly speaker Moses Wetang’ula urged unity and support for the president’s second term bid, saying this will ensure continuity of development projects.
Bungoma governor Kenneth Lusaka, senator David Wakoli and Kanduyi mp John Makali called for more support in roads, agriculture and other economic programmes, while sirisia mp John Waluke urged inclusivity among leaders to strengthen unity ahead of the re-election campaign.
The visit marked the end of the president’s four-day western region tour, with the government reaffirming its commitment to development across the country.
