An upcoming politician in Bungoma County as called on area Residents to register in large numbers as United Democratic Alliance (UDA) members ahead of the 2027 general elections.
CBS Moses Wamoto who is gunning for the Bungoma County UDA Youth Chairman stated that it is through registering as members of the ruling party that they can have a say in electing responsible leaders.
Speaking at Zion Hotel in Sikata market during the launch of his campaigns, Wamoto pointed that good leadership will only be realized when they place go-getters in top places.
“UDA is a great party, I am calling on Bungoma Residents to register in large numbers so that they can have a say in choosing their leaders in 2027, apart from registering as a party member ensure also that you register as a voter so that you can be eligible to elect your leaders,” he said.
He last week visited the County UDA office in Bungoma town where he formally engaged the party leadership, reaffirmed hos commitment to the party, and ensured that he was duly confirmed and fully compliant as a registered UDA member.
Wamoto reaffirmed his commitment in serving the youths by ensuring that they get jobs and are recognized in all party structures as critical thinkers and wise decision makers.
“We need youth participation, party growth and the need to strengthen UDA structures at the grassroots level across all sub-counties,” he said.
Wamoto further added, “My focus remains on unity, inclusivity, and mobilising young people to actively take part in party activities and leadership for a stronger UDA in Bungoma County,”.
He noted that the launch marks the beginning of a united youth movement aimed at strengthening UDA structures, empowering young people, and building a strong voice for the youth across Bungoma County.
He called on youths to support his bid as they plan to reelect President William Ruto whom he described as a leader who understands their challenges.
“Nobody fights to join the opposition, we are all fighting to join the government and that is the reason we need to support President Ruto’s reelection in 2027, he is a God send leader who supports youth’s growth and development,” he said.
Wamoto stated that his versatile leadership strength and skills will help steer the party to greater heights if he will be elected to represent youths in the county in the forthcoming elections.
