PAS Osiya Says This Year’s Version Of Teso Night Will Be Unique

By Reuben Olita

Principal Administrative Secretary in the Executive Office of the President Arthur Amug Osiya has said this year’s version of the Teso Night will be unique.

Speaking in Amagoro at the weekend, Osiya said this year’s version will start 2pm with all cultures of the county.

” There will be a big venture of Teso Night this year compared to last year with thousands of people expected to attend,” he said.

He added: ” These initiatives touch peoples’ lives. To make it meet the threshold, we have expanded the committee to include businessmen and church leaders.”

Osiya was happy with this year’s festival with over 10,000 people in attendance, exuding confidence that the number could hit 50,000- mark this year.

” Amagoro residents were main beneficiaries with booming business from hawkers and shopkeepers making a kill products like water and soda among others,” Osiya said.

Osiya lauded the event
organiser and musician Kiteh Etyang for the role he played in nurturing talent, noting that there is no need for outsourcing talent.

Kiteh said he assisted in the video shooting of six songs for the Anglican Church of Kenya Amagoro parish choir, including Ebella.

Kiteh said that as a result of Amagoro Comprehensive and Primary School hosting the Teso Night, the school received solar panels worth Ksh1million, courtesy of PAS Osiya.
