Rowdy supporters of Trans Nzoia County governor George Natembeya on Monday morning caused a stir in Milimani estate by deflating government vehicles used by security personnel.
Police officers attached to DCI and EACC had raided Governor George Natembeya’s Residence in Milimani Trans Nzoia County with the aim of arresting him over unknown charges.
During the incident, Natembeya’s supporters who changed war and circumcision songs the deflated tyres of five vehicles belonging to DCI,EACC officials camping at Governor’s Kitale home.
The youths further vandalized some vehicles as the heavily armed security details watched.
DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa led other leaders in storming the residence and condemning the incident.
