A philanthropist and Bungoma businessman Joseph Lendrix Waswa has flagged off newly acquired ambulances and launched his foundation office in Webuye town to serve the great people of Webuye West and its environs.
The newly equipped ambulances that will play a pivotal role in responding to the peoples’ medical emergencies.
The ambulances will be distributed to the four wards within Webuye West constituency.
Lendrix who has announced to dislodge the current Mp Dan Wanyama from power in 2027 says he is the alternative leadership after the incumbent failed to discharge his duties.
He said that he is launching projects and programmes that touch the common Mwananchi and would continue to do so as he endures himself to the common voter.
“I am also touched with the upcoming programmes,the latest being the seed distribution initiative which will commence from Monday the 17th across Webuye West,” he said.
He also emphasized more about the upcoming bursary initiative commencing as from 29th March with each of the four wards that is Misikhu, Bokoli, Matulo and Sitikho expected to get Sh500,000 each in bursary form to supplement the government efforts in making education free.
He also promised to set up ICT centres in Webuye West where vulnerable youths would equip themselves Computer knowledge.
Earlier on, Lendrix officially inaugurated the newly set up Joseph Waswa Foundation’s Office in Webuye.
The office will help to run the daily programs that concerns the foundation.
Present were Matulo MCA Stephen Kaiser Simiyu, Benerd Kikechi (Mbakalo), Milliah Masungo(Misikhu) and Idd Chamawi (Maeni) who lauded Lendrix for his steadfast public programs.
