Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has called on Kenyans to embrace the broad-based government approach, which he believes is key to ensuring inclusive development across the country.
Speaking at Mabole Primary School Grounds in Butere, Kakamega, during a Thanksgiving ceremony for Cooperatives Cabinet Secretary Hon. Wycliffe Oparanya, Lusaka commended President William Ruto for appointing pioneer governors and opposition members to serve in his Cabinet.
“This approach not only strengthens our national unity but also ensures that all regions and communities are represented in decision-making processes,” Lusaka stated.
Lusaka expressed pride on behalf of the Council of Governors, highlighting the success of former governors like Oparanya in taking on significant roles within the national government.
“Such appointments reflect the strength of devolved units in nurturing capable leaders who are ready to contribute at the national level”,He asserted.
Lusaka also assured that governors from the Western region are united in their efforts to drive comprehensive transformation for their constituents, reinforcing their commitment to the broad-based government’s vision.
