There is a need for public engagement to identify priority projects in betterment of livelihoods.
In view of this, the County Department of Gender, Culture, Youths and Sports held its inaugural public participation on the 7 key policies.
The public forum deliberated on disability, youth,gender mainstreaming, children protection,group registration, sports, culture and arts policies.
The meeting held at Mabanga FTC, was chaired by the CECM incharge of Gender Eng. Agnes Wachiye, and attended by more than 200 stakeholders drawn from the civil society ,youths, People living with special needs, council of elders,the clergy , opinion leaders among others.
