Lusaka Wows Bungoma Town Residents As He Walks On Foot To Launch Upgrading Of Two Feeder Roads



Bungoma governor Kenneth Lusaka on Monday launched the completion of the famous Lusaka road in Bungoma town.

The stretch that connects Bungoma referral hospital road to the ministry of trade had been abandoned since 2017 when he left office.

Speaking during the commissioning, Lusaka stated that the road will help ease traffic within Bungoma town.

“The Completion of this road will go a long way to decongest Bungoma town,” Said lusaka.

The rehabilitation will include tarmacking and creation a pedestrian path as well as the drainage systems.

The whole exercise is expected to cost approximately 30 million shillings.

The governor also commissioned the tarmacking of Mama Fanta road towards.

Chebukube market which is at the heart of Bungoma town.
