Roots Party of Kenya Presidendial Candidate, Professor George Wajackoya has hinted in getting rid of boda bodas in various urban centres once he succeeds Uhuru Kenyatta as the 5th President after the August 9, 2022 polls.

Addressing an ecstatic crowd at Busia taxi park today (Saturday), Wajackoya said he has put in place many mechanisms that would spur economic development across the country.

” We shall not need boda bodas on our roads because there will be nobody to carry since most Kenyans will be millionaires with money not a problem to them,” he said.

Prof Wajackoya said his government will legalize marijuana which many countries are growing for medicinal purposes with a sack of the weed fetching Ksh.302million in the world market.

A number of countries in Africa have turned to bhang for export and it is an idea that many Kenyans and especially the youth have particularly taken a keen interest in, thus Wajackoya’s ambitious plans to commercialise its growth.

In addition to commmercializing bang, Wajackoya said his government will also introduce a 24-hour economy with Kenyans working four days per week.

” There will be three shifts from 8am-4pm, 4pm- 11pm and 11pm-8am. The move will create more jobs for the unemployed youths and it will also boost the country’s economy,” he said.

Prof Wajackoya said his administration will set aside Fridays as holiday for Muslims, Saturdays for Seventh Day Adventist faithful and Sundays for all Christians.

He noted that the culture of handouts is contributing to the current skyrocketing foreign debt which currently stands at 8.4trillion, adding that those who engage in corruption will face the full force of the law.
