Kakurikit Bullets hammered Adanya Wembe Stars 5-2 in the Football Kenya Federation Teso North Sub Branch League match played at Kakurikit Primary School play ground at the weekend.
Cornelius Wanjala scored a brace for Kakurikit with other goals netted by Job Etyang, Collins Echakara and Dominic Papa.
Adanya reduced the margin through Haron Kamat and Amos Onjala in the match pittng teams that are lying bottom in the table standing.
Adanya are 15th on the log with seven points from nine matches having registered two victories, one draw and seven loses. Kakurikit despite whitewashing their opponents occupy 16th position in the 17-team league with four points.
They have one win, one draw and eight loses.Teso North Legends with four points are last with inferior goal difference.
At Kabkara Primary School, hosts Kabkara trounced Homeboys 4-0 with Maxwell Nambafu netting two goals. Other scorers were Nickson Papako and Seth Annan.
The emphatic victory saw Kabkara move to second position with 21 points from 10 games. They have won six matches, drawn three and lost one.
Pool FC squandered a chance to keep pressure on front runners when they were held to a goalless draw by Akolong FC at Akolong Primary School. The draw saw them jump to third position with 18 points from nine matches, having won five matches, drawn three and lost one.
Akobwait Stars moved to fifth position with 15 points after holding Korisai to a goalless draw at Korisai Primary School. Korisai moved two positions to 12th position.
Okuleu and Katakwa also drew 0-0 at Okuleu Primary School. The draw saw Okuleu move to eigth position and Katakwa to 11th.
Black stars beat tailenders Teso North Legenda 2-0 to frogmarch to sixth position on the log with 15 points. The loss confined Legends to the bottom of the table with four points from nine matches.
