Njimuli Hat Trick Earns Musokoto FC Resounding Victory Over Chakol

Kelvin Njimuli hit a hat trick to guide Musokoto FC resounding 3-1victory over Chakol at Musokoto Primary School play ground at the weekend.

Njimuli opened the scoring in the 15th before Cyrus Ebwabit levelled for Chakol in the 44th minute to see the two teams deadlocked at 1-1 during half time.

Njimuli was on target again in the 61st minute before netting the third goal in the 92nd minute to earn his team three crucial points.

In another Zone A match played at Asinge Primary School, hosts Asinge FC trounced Kamuriai 3-0 with Collins Amusugutu scoring a brace in the 18th and 34th minutes respectively. Joel Okochil added the third goal in the 78th minute.

In a Zone B match Nasewa FC beat Western Kings 3-0 with goals from Edgar Bahati in the 12th and 43rd minutes and a penalty kick in the 59th minute to complete a hat trick.

Itoya FC beat California, 2-1 in a thrilling FKF Busia County League Zone B match played at the Busia County Stadium.

The hard-fought victory saw Itoya increase their points tally to 21 from nine matches as the battle for top honours intensified at the weekend.

After a goalless first half, Brian Giggs put Itoya into the lead after 53 minutes. The lead was cancelled two minutes with Fred Juma grabbing an equalizer for California. Charles Amoit netted the winner in the 61st minute, in the match officiated by Patrick Muge assisted by
Moses Osabalo and Henry Kundu.

Buradi and Abananda battled for a goalless draw in a Zone B match played at Buradi Primary School.

In other Zone B matches, Young Muslims beat Young stars 2-0 at Bujwanga Primary School, Nambale beat Spiders 5-2 at Bukati, while Muungano beat
Mabale 4-0.
