FKF Nambale Sub-Branch League Season Gets Underway With Madende Winning Opener

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Nambale Sub Branch League Season 2021/2022 started at the weekend with Madende FC winning the opening mach.

They achieved the feat after outshining Sianda 1-0 in the match played at Madende Primary Primary School at the weekend.

The lone goal that dashed the hopes of the never-say-die Sianda came in the 30th minute through John Malaika from a well executed shot.

Manuel Tabu who was yellow-carded in the 37th minute by Centre Referee, Clement Juma was sent off in the 78th minute for a second caution.

The Sub Branch chairman, Salim Suleiman said he is happy the league has finally kicked off with at least eight teams taking part including Motherland from Sibembe, Madende, Sianda FC, Teens of Hope and Khwirale.

Suleiman urged teams taking part in the sub branch league to embrace fair play, noting the federation will not condone indicipline.

“Any problem arising from either poor officiating or othe related grievances should channeled to the federation and the law will take its own course.
