Eagles Fail To Fly Home In FKF Busia County League

Butula Eagles were upset 2-0 by newcomers Namwitsula in Zone B of the Football Kenya Federation Busia County League played at Butula Polytechnic on Saturday.

Daniel Okoth put the visiting side ahead in the 16th minute before Godwin Chesa added the second in the 39th
minute to seal the game.

In the other Zone B encounter, Young Tigers beat Buradi 1-0 at Buradi Primary School with Dennis Opondo scoring the lone goal in the 14th minute.

Spider FC capitalized on home ground advantage to trounce Western Kings 4-2 in a thriller-a-minute encounter played at Bukati Primary School.

Spider scored through Jonathan Ochieng,
Geoffrey Juma, Amos Wafula and Mark Chitai,
with Western Kings replying through Kennedy owino and Isaac onguro.

At Mabale Primary, Itoya FC beat hosts Mabale United 2-1 with David Ochola and Rigan Riggs netting for the winners. Peter Omondi scored the consolation goal.

At Kamolo Primary School, hosts Kamolo and Kamuriai drew 1-1 with Eugene Omudek scoring Kamolo’s first goal in the 10th minute. Kamuriai equalized through Billy Barasa in the 82nd minute.

Lupida were held to a goalless draw by Asinge FC at Lupida Primary School.
