Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka on Monday evening visited a Royal Media Services Reporter Kaitano Nyongesa at Lugulu Mission Hospital.
Mr Kaitano was involved in a road accident on Saturday while heading to his Makunga village home in Tongaren constituency, Bungoma County.
Lusaka offered his prayers to the scribe and wished him quick recovery.
“God is great, am praying for you day and night for you to resume your duties very soon,” said Lusaka.
Nyongesa reports for both Citizen Radio and Sulwe FM was involved in a serious road accident and admitted at Lugulu mission hospital.
He suffered multiple injuries following an impact of the accident.
According to the scribe, his motorbike was hit from behind by a speeding vehicle somewhere in Webuye East as he was heading home on Saturday evening.
Nyongesa stated that he owes his survival to God or else people could be talking of other stories today.
“It is only God who made sure am a live today, a motorist knocked my motorbike from behind and I don’t know what happened next, I found myself in hospital,” he said in his hospital bed.
He was later rushed to the medical facility where he is currently recuperating after medics attended to him.
